GROVE, Okla. — A firefighter died Saturday after suffering a medical event while on a call.
According to the U.S. Fire Administration, Cowskin Rural Fire District firefighter William Brinza III, 64, had just arrived at the scene of a structure fire and was still in the driver seat of the rig when he suffered a medical event.
Brinza was treated by colleagues at the scene, but he died from an undetermined cause.

The post added that a memorial service will be held for Brinza on Saturday, May 19 at 1:30 p.m. at Cowskin Station 1.
