MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — A Maryland firefighter-paramedic passed away on Saturday morning after responding to fire incidents on Thursday and Friday.

The Maryland Heights Fire Department (MHFD) said that Firefighter-Paramedic Chris Moore suffered from a medical emergency on Thursday and his death will be considered a line-of-duty death, KMOV4 reports.

Moore is a 20-year veteran in the department. He leaves behind a son and daughter.
