National First Responders Day isn’t about shopping sprees — but it is a chance for fire, EMS, law enforcement and dispatch professionals to be recognized for their service. Across the country, retailers and brands are offering special discounts and deals to show appreciation for the work you do every day.
While many responders prefer to keep the focus on the job rather than the praise, there’s nothing wrong with accepting a “thank you” now and then. Taking advantage of these offers is one simple way to let others show their gratitude.
