UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — A basement fire on Jan. 30 damaged a three-story townhome in Upper Marlboro, Prince George’s County officials said.

Firefighters from the Prince George’s County Fire Department responded at 2:54 a.m. to the 4500 block of Colonel Gardiner Way and quickly extinguished the blaze; searches of the building were negative for victims and no injuries were reported.
