PORTLAND, Ore. — Firefighters at Portland Fire Rescue Station 31 had a large branch of a cherry tree severed and needing removal.

The firefighters took advantage of the opportunity to create a drill with a victim trapped under the branch suffering a puncture wound.

This drill required firefighters to focus on stabilizing the affected limb of the tree and providing patient care.
