LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. — Los Angeles County Fire Department USA-02 team members, including canine search teams, worked in some of Venezuela’s hardest-hit areas.

Crews used specialized heavy equipment to remove layers of collapsed structures and reach spaces where survivors may have been trapped.
