TRENTON, N.J. — Trenton’s bravest are mourning a firefighter who died weeks after he suffered an apparent heart attack while rescuing a man.
Officials say Manny Rivera climbed a ladder to reach a man who was dangling from a window of a burning home on Feb. 9.
The 14-year veteran brought the man down the ladder and collapsed. He remained in a coma at St. Francis Medical Center.
