The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a body was found near the area where Von Minden went missing last week, according to the Palm Beach Post.
Authorities did not confirm the man’s identity; however, the Broward County Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Association reported on Facebook that the body found was Von Minden.

JUPITER, Fla. — A Florida firefighter-paramedic is missing after crashing his vehicle on Friday.
Officials say Broward County Firefighter-Paramedic James Von Minden was last seen in Jupiter Farms following the off-duty, single-vehicle crash, and seemed to be disoriented, according to WPBF.
More than 200 volunteers are searching for Vonminden near the crash site and near his home, said Local 4321 Broward Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Union President Jason Smith.
Vonminden is a firefighter-paramedic with Broward County Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue. He is 5-foot-11, 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, dark shorts and sandals.
