GREENWICH, Conn. — Dimitri Damiarov likes to pay it forward.
As the owner of Greenwich Pharmacy on Greenwich Avenue, with his pharmacist wife Suzanna, the ‘Mom and Pop’ shopkeeper is saying ‘thank you’ to Greenwich’s bravest.
Damiarov is saying ‘thank you’ to about 120 to 130 volunteer and paid firefighters who keep watch over residents 24/7 by offering them a discounted prescription plan that he estimates could save a volunteer’s family hundreds if not thousands of dollars a year in out of pocket costs, depending upon their needs.
