W.Va. volunteer firefighter crashes into home on way to fire

The firefighter said that he was run off the road by another driver

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. — A volunteer firefighter, responding to a fire call, crashed his pickup into a mobile home along Route 10 in Salt Rock Tuesday morning.

The firefighter is with the Salt Rock Volunteer Fire Department. He and the two women in the trailer were not hurt.

The firefighter tells WSAZ.com that he was run off the road by another driver. He ended going off the road, then up the handicap ramp at the trailer before coming to a stop on the front porch of the home. The trailer has some very minor damage.
