About this event

What: A practical AI playbook for firefighters, company officers and chiefs

When: April 7, 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET

Why: Artificial intelligence is already shaping how the fire service works — the goal now is to move from AI amateurs to AI practitioners. To steal a concept from the hazmat community, most firefighters are at the Awareness level of AI training, understanding what it is generally and experimenting with basic tools. The next step is learning how to apply AI in ways that actually support the work of the firehouse and the responsibilities of leadership — the shift to the Operations level of training.

Join our team of panelists for a practical guide to how firefighters, company officers and chief officers can begin using AI tools for everyday fire service tasks:

  • Training development
  • Career preparation
  • Administrative work

The panelists will also share key guidance for common AI skills:

  • How to prime and prompt
  • Which AI platform to use in different situations
  • How to personalize your AI settings
  • How to handle legal and policy considerations

Whether you are a firefighter exploring AI for the first time or a chief officer evaluating how these tools may affect your organization, this webinar will provide practical guidance and real-world examples from fire service leaders actively using and experimenting with AI.
