The finalists (in alphabetical order):

Addison Fire Department

Addison delivers a visually striking, emotionally grounded recruitment message. High-quality production and efficient pacing make this video ideal for digital platforms. Centered on themes of purpose, responsibility and connection to community, the message reinforces a strong professional brand. Its direct tie to active firefighter/paramedic hiring adds practical value for viewers ready to take next steps.

Allen Fire Department

Allen’s video opens with mission-focused statements that immediately resonate: “Serve others. Save lives. Protect property. Provide hope.” Clean visuals and concise messaging create a professional, approachable tone. As part of a coordinated multi-format campaign across city and HR channels, the video reinforces themes of calling, family and community impact — and offers a clear call to action for prospective applicants.

Anaheim Fire & Rescue

Anaheim showcases a wide spectrum of specialty opportunities, including USAR, HazMat and SWAT medic roles, appealing to candidates seeking growth and challenge. High production value conveys a modern, well-resourced department committed to excellence. The tagline — “Answer the Call. Plan Your Move.” — frames firefighting as a purposeful career decision supported by real hiring opportunities.

Carneys Point Fire Department

Carneys Point widens the recruitment pipeline by highlighting multiple volunteer pathways — from firefighters to fire police to juniors and auxiliary roles. Realistic scenes of teamwork and training support community members who may be exploring service for the first time. The video sits within a coordinated recruitment campaign, making it easy for viewers to find information and take action.

Columbia-Richland Fire Department

Columbia-Richland emphasizes all-hazards operations in a busy, high-demand county system. Inclusive representation of personnel and clear messaging around advancement, expectations and training help candidates understand whether they’re a good fit. Embedded within detailed recruitment pages that outline pay and hiring paths, the video becomes a functional resource for serious applicants.

Grand Chute Fire Department

Grand Chute’s fast-paced, social-media-ready approach creates immediate engagement. The video highlights a department that supports both personal and community growth. Authentic imagery of fire and EMS operations helps potential recruits picture themselves in the role. Paired with employment postings, the video smoothly connects interest to application.

Las Cruces Fire Department

Las Cruces balances action with grounded storytelling, offering an honest portrayal of fire and EMS operations. Culture is a central theme, with “Fire Family” messaging reinforcing belonging—one of the strongest motivators for recruits. Supported by a modern recruitment pipeline, including text-to-apply options, the video offers direct pathways for candidates ready to move forward.

Skokie Fire Department

Skokie’s mission-centered messaging and calm pacing present a stable, professional image. Featuring personnel across roles and ranks reinforces inclusivity and team cohesion. Wausau Fire Department

Wausau provides a realistic look at the dual responsibilities of firefighter-paramedics. Through matter-of-fact narration and authentic visuals, the department sets accurate expectations about the balance between fire and EMS operations. Departmental values — Professionalism, Accountability, Integrity, Respect and Compassion — serve as the foundation for the video’s message.

Ward Fire Department

Ward’s approachable, straightforward messaging is crafted for residents considering paid-on-call service. By clearly explaining pay-per-call structures and showing realistic operations, the video helps applicants understand exactly what to expect. Its effectiveness lies in audience alignment — a strong example of how modest production can still deliver high-impact recruitment messaging.
