KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A young Olathe cancer patient got a special salute from the Kansas City, Mo., Fire Department and Kansas City International Airport.
Braden Hofen and his family were returning from a dream vacation on Sunday evening.
When their plane landed on the runway at KCI, there were two fire engines waiting for them, spraying water. Their Southwest flight went right under the arc of water.
