No one was hurt when a Marion County fire tanker truck responding to a fire slides onto a bank of a small stream.
It happened just after 6:30 Sunday night. Members of the Winfield Volunteer Fire Department were racing to get to a fire in a shed on Colfax Road. The fire was about a half a mile up a steep hill.
When the fire truck tried to cross a wooden bridge, part of the bridge collapsed. The tanker truck slid off to the right side onto the bank of a small creek.
