Man in stable condition after incident
COCOA, Fla. — A Central Florida firefighter is in stable condition on Tuesday after a brush truck rolled over his legs at the department, according to officials.
The unidentified firefighter returned to Cocoa fire station No. 3 at about 3 p.m. when the incident occurred, officials told Local 6 News.
As the firefighter exited the brush truck, the vehicle’s parking brake apparently did not hold and his legs were rolled over near his knees, officials said.
