A firefighter suffered burns Wednesday night after getting shocked by electricity fighting a fire inside a home in the 40600 block of Pixie Street in East Hemet, a fire department official said.
The injuries were not life-threatening, fire Capt. Julie Hutchinson said.
The firefighter was taken by helicopter to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson said.
The incident and the fire were under investigation. The firefighter’s name was not being released, Hutchinson said.
