HOUSTON — A Houston firefighter was injured after being cut by a rescue saw while battling a house fire.
According to the Houston Chronicle, fire crews responded to the fire on April 19 at about 11:30 p.m. and the firefighter climbed onto the roof for vertical ventilation.
While climbing, the firefighter lost his footing and fell backwards off the roof, and the K-12 saw cut off a portion of his ear, according to the Houston Chronicle.
He was treated at a Houston area hospital and was later released. No other injuries were reported.
