NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Fire officials say an early-morning blaze in an east Texas mobile home has killed four people.
Nacogdoches Fire Chief Keith Kiplinger says the four victims were found in a back bedroom early Wednesday. Neighbors tell The Daily Sentinel of Nacogdoches that two women and two children — ages 4 and 3 — died in the fire.
Firefighters say the flames were “high in the trees” over the house when they arrived on scene.
Nacogdoches is located about 150 miles southeast of Dallas.
