LOS ANGELES — Firefighters rescued a 20-year-old woman who was stuck in a chimney Monday night, authorities said. It wasn’t immediately known how or why she became stuck.
Firefighters used a pulley system to raise the woman by her outstretched arms out of the small chimney at a home in the North Hollywood section of Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received the call at about 8:30 p.m., and pulled the woman free just after 9 p.m, said spokesman Jim Wells.
