The Los Angeles City Fire Department’s Arson/Counterterrorism unit has released video of an unruly mob torching a taxi cab following the Lakers’ championship victory game on Thursday.
A man can be seen tossing flaming materials into the cab’s front seat as others in the crowd cheer him on.
Several people are then seen taking photos of the fire, at times posing with it.
The crowd disperses and runs as sirens are heard and emergency vehicles approach.
Riot police appear to fire crowd-dispersing rounds and advance to clear the scene for firefighters.
The video is accompanied by a message calling for viewers to provide any information about the people seen committing crimes in the footage.
