A manifold that exploded may indicate a defect, according to a safety bullitin.
Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion, the bullitin issued by Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services in Maryland said. The incident is believed to have taken place in Lambertville, New Jersey.
The explosion occurred during water tender filling at a multi-alarm fire, according to the bullitin.
