GOLDSBORO, NC — A 41-year-old firefighter died from an apparent heart attack Friday night after finishing a tour of duty.
Carol Irene Taylor, of the Goldsboro, NC, Fire Department had responded to an electrical fire early Friday morning. She returned home at 8:00 a.m., and was found deceased in her home later that night, according to a report from the U.S. Fire Administration.
Firefighter Taylor had served for 11 years. Funeral arrangements are pending.
