WHISPERING PINES, N.C. — Volunteer Probationary Firefighter Glenn Miller, 34, was participating in firefighter level one training when he started experiencing chest pains. While be transported by ambulance to the hospital, Miller suffered an apparent heart attack. Once he reached the hospital he was placed on life support, but passed away early in the morning of the 17th.
