BLANCHARD, Ohio — An Ohio firefighter died Sunday, four days after he collapsed while participating in pump training.
Firefighter Conrad Mansfield, 45, of the Delaware Township Volunteer Fire Department in Blanchard, Ohio, was transported to a local hospital, then airlifted to a hospital in Toledo where he was placed on life support, but later died.
Initial findings suggest he suffered a stroke, but further investigation is pending.
