Pa. fire police lieutenant dies after responding

Lt. John Lackovic had spent 33 years in the fire service

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. — A Pennsylvania fire police lieutenant died Monday after responding to a vehicle accident.

Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company Fire Police Lt. John Lackovic experienced difficulty breathing about four hours after responding to an incident involving a motorcycle.

EMS responders found Lt. Lackovic in cardiac arrest and transported him to a local hospital where he passed away.

Lt. Lackovic had spent 33 years in the fire service.
