PHILADELPHIA — Flames shot out of a UPS cargo plane as the plane landed just after midnight Wednesday at Philadelphia International Airport.
The crew had declared an emergency and the plane was met by fire and rescue crews as it touched down. The crew members got off the plane and were taken to a hospital but were checked out and later released.
The fire was declared under control just after 4:00am though the plane continued to smolder.
