GRANGEVILLE, Idaho — A fire truck used to battle field fires more than 50 years ago has been converted into a moving Christmas display with Santa at the wheel, causing so much excitement that it regularly draws children out in the cold in their pajamas to watch it pass.
Area residents consider it such a unique event to see the “moving Christmas card,” as firefighters call it, that one time its bells and Christmas lights caused a woman to rush out from the shower without any clothes.
“The driver almost ran off the road, he was laughing so hard,” Bob Beckman, one of the firefighters, told the Lewiston Tribune.
