ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Three Rochester firefighters were injured battling a house fire on Mark Street last night.
Rochester firefighters were called to 18 Mark St. at 9:20 p.m. Within one hour, the blaze was under control, said Deputy Fire Chief Robert Wegman.
Fire investigators determined that the fire sparked from a space heater on the second floor, Wegman said. The fire heavily damaged the second floor and attic, and destroyed the roof, he said.
