An off-duty Rochester firefighter shot last week in Irondequoit has been discharged from Strong Memorial Hospital, hospital officials said today.
Archie Jenkins III, 24, of Rochester was shot about 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 outside 67 Portland Court, just off Portland Avenue, said Irondequoit Police Capt. Martin Corbett.
Jenkins was in his SUV and had just pulled into a parking spot when someone fired multiple shots at the vehicle, Corbett said. One bullet reportedly struck Jenkins in the abdomen. ...
