Ga. fire dept. offering $10K reward for arsonist info

RIVERDALE, Ga. — The Riverdale Fire Department needs the public’s help to identify an arsonist who torched a house for sale in Riverdale Saturday.

And there could be up to a $10,000 reward involved. “Riverdale Fire Chief Nishiyama Willis would like to assure the community that our investigators are currently gathering information and are aggressively and thoroughly pursuing all leads,” according to a press release.

The Riverdale fire and police departments responded to the house on Cedar Drive at about 3:55 a.m., according to the release.
