WENATCHEE, Wash. — With video showing a man running from the scene of a fire early this morning at Ag Supply Co., investigators are saying the blaze was arson.

The surveillance footage from Ag Supply shows a large flash, a sudden fire in the hay barn area of a large storage facility, then a man running from the scene, according to Sgt. John Kruse with the Wenatchee Police Department. The man is seen running through the Ag Supply parking lot. He is wearing dark clothing and a light-colored hat.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the fire call Detective Edgar Reinfeld at 888-4132.

No one was injured in the fire, which was reported at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday. It was called in by employees at The Buzz Inn, which is across the street from Ag Supply, 1115 N. Wenatchee Ave.

Fire responders found fire in the hay barn and attached warehouse. It is in a separate building from the main store. The warehouse contained hay and grain. The metal building was damaged structurally and is a total loss, said Wenatchee Fire Chief Stan Smoke.
