FARMINGTON, Mo. — A former firefighter has been placed on probation for attempted arson.
David Radford, 22, of Park Hills, was one of three Park Hills firefighters charged in 2013 after a series of arson fires in the area.
He was accused of attempting to set fire to a house at 205 North Front Street in Park Hills. He also admitted to being in a car while another firefighter went into a building at 227 East Elvins Boulevard in Park Hills to set the building on fire. He told police they left the building and went to prepare to fight the fires.
