Brian Marcos

Brian Marcos is fire chief and director of emergency management for the Smyrna (Georgia) Fire Department, also serving as the Georgia state director for the Southeastern Association of Fire Chiefs, founder and president of the United Leadership Program, and the Area 7 district vice president for the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs. Marcos has an associate degree in fire science and a bachelor’s degree in fire administration from Columbia Southern University, and completed the Executive Leadership Program for Manager and Directors through Kennesaw State University (KSU). He holds a Chief Fire Officer (CFO) designation from the Commission on Professional Credentialing, and he is a certified emergency manager, a Georgia certified paramedic and a Georgia Smoke Diver. Marcos was named one of the 50 Most Influential Hispanics in Georgia by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as well as Fire Officer of the Year by the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs.
