OMAHA, Neb. —Two years ago, Jeff Holdsworth’s cancer returned.
“I had a seizure at work, they took me in, I had a tumor on my brain, it had spread there,” said Holdsworth. Holdsworth was a firefighter for 18 years and knew backing down from a battle wasn’t an option. “I think you just look to your support system and we had an amazing support system around us,” said Cassie Holdsworth, Jeff’s wife. “Our family rallied and our friends rallied.”
Friends, family and firefighters wear bracelets that read “No One Fights Alone.” “Just the smallest things make all the difference in the world,” said Jeff Holdsworth.
