OKLAHOMA CITY — A Metro family facing a heartbreaking situation is given an incredible gift by local heroes. Two year old Jase Bollenbach is battling a rare form of cancer, and on Thursday, the Oklahoma City Fire Department organized an unforgettable surprise for him and his family.
Jase’s mom Shannon Bollenbach said, “Everything is fire trucks. He loves fire trucks. He plays firetrucks constantly.”
To begin his surprise, Jase was picked up by a fire truck at OU Children’s Hospital. From there fire fighters took him to Fire Station 1.
