FREDRICKSBURG, Va. — For a few weeks this month, H.H. Poole Middle School cafeteria employee Vickie Blanchard said, she left work with a migraine and an upset stomach.
These symptoms caused her to miss five days on the job, she said.
It all started Jan. 4, when a boiler malfunctioned and emitted an odor in the cafeteria’s kitchen. The Stafford County school was evacuated that day.
