Carbon monoxide overwhelmed three-quarters of the staff at a Cobb County sandwich company on Wednesday.
Emergency crews scrambled to give oxygen to workers with splitting headaches and who were feeling nauseous from fumes. It happened at the Georgia Sandwich Company.
Investigators say a construction crew was using a gas-powered saw indoors without proper ventilation. They say 31 workers got so sick that they had to be taken to the hospital.
