GLENDALE, Ariz. — A family of four were killed in a house fire Wednesday morning.
ABC15 reported that fire officials found a mother and three children inside the home. They said it appeared as if they tried to escape the blaze; one tried to get through the front of the house while two others tried escaping from the back.
The first arriving crews reported flames shooting out of the roof.
The fire is believed to have started in the back of the house. Officials said the heat from the fire was “one of the hottest they’ve been on,” according to the report.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
