Houston FF with COVID-19 in ICU

The Houston firefighters’ union said one firefighter is in ICU and two other firefighters from the same station have also tested positive

HOUSTON — A Houston firefighter is hospitalized in the ICU with COVID-19, the Houston Professional Firefighters Association said Sunday.

A crew member at the firefighter’s station also tested positive, through it’s unclear whether the crew member was also hospitalized.

“We are in contact with the hospitalized member’s family,” the union said in a tweet. “Please keep him, his family and friends, and his crew in your thoughts and prayers. Please stay safe.”

No other information was immediately available Sunday night.
