PAOLI, Ind. — An F1 tornado ripped the roof from the firehouse in Paoli, Ind., on Monday.
The tornado touched down for two miles and produced winds at nearly 95mph, according to the Times-Mail.
The building is shared by fire and police. Efforts were in progress Tuesday to find new housing for police, while Assistant Fire Chief Mark Jones said his department could not work out of the building until the damage is fixed.
“We’re worried about it caving in,” he said.
