DETROIT — A Detroit firefighter was found shot to death in his home Monday night.
The Detroit Free Press reported that few details are being released, but the 59-year-old David Madigral was found at his home by a family member. He was found in a chair with a gunshot wound on the right side of temple.
Firefighter Madigral had been with the department for 25 years.
His 2015 black Ford Expedition was reported stolen, but has since been recovered.
Police are not confirming whether the case is a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
