MONROE, La. — Monroe Fire Department Chief Training Officer Richard Hall died Sunday night after losing control of the vehicle he was driving.
Troop F of Louisiana State Police responded to the crash on Louisiana 841, approximately five miles north of U.S. 165, shortly before 11:30 p.m.
The investigation determined that Hall, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from a 2001 GMC Yukon after the vehicle struck a ditch and overturned.
