FORT GRATIOT, Mich. — A firefighter-paramedic died Tuesday in a motorcycle crash.
WPHM reported that Jon-Marc Chandler, a Fort Gratiot Fire Department firefighter and Tri-Hospital EMS paramedic, died after a pickup truck collided with his motorcycle.
“It was his skill set that allowed him to not only save lives, but to also show compassion for the people around him,” Tri-Hospital EMS said in a Facebook post. “No matter the time of day or how tired he may have been, if you had an emergency, you always got his best.”
Chandler is survived by his wife and two children.
The crash is currently under investigation. We will update you when more information becomes available.
