DERBY, Conn. — Two firefighters reportedly received minor injuries at a structure fire Monday night as a blizzard was hitting Connecticut, according to firefighter Edward Biggs of Company 4.

The structure at 135 Mount Pleasant St. was reported to be fully engaged at one point, but most of the fire was under control by 9 p.m.

Biggs did not have additional details on the blaze.

Assistant Chief Paul Wilson, who is with Echo House Co. 1 in Shelton, said his company responded, as did firefighters from Ansonia.

The call came in around 7:30 p.m. Wilson said it was a multi-family structure.
