FRESNO, Calif. — A firefighter in recovering after being injured while battling a house fire Tuesday morning.
ABC30 reported that the fire broke out in the two-story home just after 1 a.m. Fire officials said the roof collapsed on top of a firefighter during the fire attack. The firefighter was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Officials said he suffered a neck injury, but was later released.
The fire caused about $200,000 in damage and removed two people from their home.
Electrical wiring issues in the home are being blamed for sparking the flames.
