CANTON TWP., Ohio — Firefighters at the township’s Station No. 5 awoke Sunday morning to discover their vehicles had been broken into and one vehicle was missing.

Capt. Scott Johnson said a firefighter’s Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen, then recovered at Whipple and Navarre Roads Sunday after the thief took it “mudding” and got it stuck.

The other three vehicles, parked behind the station at 3520 Sherman Church Ave. SW, were missing CD’s, money, car chargers and prescription medication.
