JOHNSTON, R.I. — A RI firefighter arrested in a drug sting has been suspended without pay.
Johnston Mayor Joseph Polisena announced the decision Tuesday, according to Turn to 10.
Firefighter David Lashus and his 21-year-old son were arrested last week.
Police said the Firefighter Lashus’ son took a delivery of a marijuana package from California.
Investigators said they also found about 100 pot plants, guns and thousands of dollars in cash in the family’s home.
