LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — After a freak martial arts accident, a Lexington Co. firefighter is back home after months of rehabilitation in Atlanta.
“It’s just so nice seeing the faces that spent so much time and effort to make me happy,” Adam Bacon said. In October, Adam Bacon was at his 2nd jiu jitsu practice when he broke his neck.
After time in the ICU and months of physical therapy at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Adam and his wife are back. “We’re glad to be home, it’s really good to see the faces now that have supported us in the background,” Maureen Bacon said.
