LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP, Ill. — A man firefighters pulled from a creek Sunday afternoon said he fell off his bicycle and slid down a ravine in Lockport Township.
The victim was able to use his cell phone to call 911 as he lay in the creek near Lawrence and Connor avenues.
The water is about two feet deep there.
An ambulance took the man to Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, where he was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
