OAKDALE, Pa. — A local Vo-tech teacher was treated for minor burns suffered during a lesson about fire safety.
Jack Highfield, director of Parkway West Career & Technology Center in Oakdale, said the school’s public safety teacher was burned this morning. He declined to release the teacher’s name.
The school educates about 600 career and technical education students from 12 school districts.
